Favourite thing about Ignite Dance Academy:

I love how close and supportive and encouraging everyone is with each other, especially Miss Zoe and Miss Sue. They bring amazing things out of us that we never thought were there.

 

Why do you like to dance?

I like to dance because it has become a passion of mine and I don't know what I would do without it. I have made so many wonderful friends and experienced so many incredible opportunities. It keeps me occupied out of school, as there is always something new and intriguing to learn.

 

Tell us about yourself:

I began dancing at the age of 3 at Aberdeen Academy of Dance, before moving up to Cumbria in 2011. When I was 6 years old I performed in a production of 'The Chorus Line', and when I was 7 years old I was selected to take part in the Christmas pantomime, Cinderella, at HMT Theatre in Aberdeen. I also took part in the next year's pantomime, Sleeping Beauty, when I was 8.

 

What are your aspirations for the future?

I hope to attend sixth form at school and then move onto a dance college to continue my love for dance - whether it's professionally, teaching or both.
